We usually start our day around 7am. I have a flexible schedule that can accommodate most dogs needs and am home most days. The dogs will get loads of playtime, exercise and love. The most they will be left alone in a day is up to 6 hours, although rare.

A typical day
Im usually up before 7 and let the pups out and feed them right away. I like to work outside so they will usually be outdoors for most of the day weather permitting.

Pet care experience
While you are away you can rest assured knowing that your pup is having a great time and enjoying their vacation as much as you! Your dog(s) will be the only ones in the household. We have no breed preferences and love them all! My goal is to provide a safe and comfortable stay for your pup. I have about an acre of fenced in land and am very hands-on with the dogs so that they are receiving the attention they deserve. Please let me know any additional details that can help prepare for the dogs arrival. I want their stay to be as comfortable and relaxing as possible and for you to have peace of mind. Please note the last two miles to my home are on a gravel road.

Review from our dog-Kenny “I didn’t want to leave my nature retreat when my parents came to pick me up. The place was quiet, lots of yard to play in and plenty of sticks to chew on. I loved that she let me pick a spot on the couch to lay and sleep. Oliver (Miriam’s dog) was my age and so much fun to play with and I just love him so much. I cannot wait to go back!”
Miriam was wonderful! She is good at communicating and quick to follow up. The pups seemed to have a wonderful time in the fenced yard and in her home. We definitely recommend her and would reach out again!
Miriam was flexible and communicated really well. It was like leaving our dog at a dog resort. Lots of fenced in space to explore. Samba was obviously cared for and treated like family.
Wonderful experience! Miriam watched our two dogs for a long weekend and they had the best time ever! Her house and yard is so perfect for a doggy mountain get-away! I received lots of communication and photos - I never worried at all. She has a sweet pup of her own named Oliver and he is a great companion to the visiting dogs. He’s super cute and lovable - I hated to leave him when we picked the boys up! We highly recommend Miriam. Wonderful experience.
