Animal care to your requirements
Within our household we have considerable experience of animal care to include iPet level 3 grooming, veterinary nursing, Level 4 Canine Behaviour, Level 3 extended diploma in small animal management and all household members are Animal first Aid trained. We have owned pets all our lives and have fostered for national charities for over 10 years. We welcome each individual as a member of our family and care for them as their needs require.

Cassie had the best time with Miriam and her family, the texts, videos and photos daily were great and showed us she was in great hands! We got great advice on feeding and training and we couldn’t have asked for better sitters for our baby! Thank you so much for looking after our puppy and she will look forward to more play dates with your other pups! Highly recommend Miriam and her family for looking after your fur baby!
Absolutely out of this world!! The whole family (including their doggos) were super welcoming and accommodating of our boy Captain. He straight away was at ease and we immediately had no concerns. It was awesome getting all the pictures and videos while away from him and even better to see he was having his own sort of holiday while we were away - loving life there! We really couldn’t recommend them enough, they went above and beyond and we were really happy 🤩
Bailey was looked after so well whilst we were away. It was so nice getting regular photo updates, and we could see he really settled in very quickly and felt at home. He even got a bath and brush and came home smelling wonderful 🥰 Will definitely look to rebook Miriam when we are next away.
Zucca loves her visits to Miriam. Very responsive and great communication with pictures throughout the day.
Grace looked after my border collies (Fred aged 11 and Pip aged 9) whilst we went to Canada for three weeks in the summer of 2024. They are very active dogs but were very well cared for, with at least two long walks every day and I was very reassured that they were in very safe hands. Grace has since cared for them for shorter periods of time. They both love Grace and are always very excited to see her. Thoroughly recommend.
My little dog has been visiting Miriam for nearly three years and it is her FAVOURITE place. She gets so excited staying there and the other dogs are her best friends. I never worry about leaving her there as I know she is in the safest hands. I get regular photos and videos of all the fun she’s having and she is always exhausted when I pick her up. It is so flexible as well which suits me as I work strange hours.

Schedule
Animals and their care come first and our lives evolve around their needs. We will only fit In a small number of feeds to make sure each animal gets the care and attention that they need.

Safety, trust & environment
We have double door entry making sure there is always two doors or gates between our charges and the outside world. Our garden is fully fenced with both chain link and beech hedge and there is a secure large patio area, separate to the main garden where dogs can have safe outdoor space without getting muddy or into mischief and a separate topileting pen to allow a great standard of hygiene! All householders have completed a first aid in companion pets course and we have comprehensive written policys covering all aspects from signing in animals for grooming to include hand over books for animals requiring greater levels of care (such as puppy/elderly or medicated) and recording procedures maintaining high levels of care. We are insured with Pet Plan sanctuary for boarding, grooming, feeding, behaviour, training, walking & house sitting.

A typical day
Foundation habituation/socialisation and training with pup/adolescent, scent training, on-going training with mature dogs and day to day care. we have a range of activities, such as hoopers and agility plus scent work & play!
