I have personal and professional experience caring for dogs, cats, a variety of small mammals, reptiles, birds, and more! I have worked in a high volume no kill shelter for 5 years giving me hands on experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, ages, and levels of behavioral development. I manage strong pups well, so big boys and girls are no problem! I have vet med experience and am comfortable and trained in giving insulin shots, fluids, oral medications, and ear and eye ointments. I am happy to house sit when I'm able. I’ll travel reasonable distances of around 15 miles or less to come take care of your furry (or scaley/feathery/or otherwise) family members. From feeding and watering, to walking, playing, and teaching, I can guarantee a positive, attentive, enriching experience for your babies! Feel free to contact me to learn more!

Miranda was so kind and attentive to our grumpy old cat. She was fabulous with med administration and communication. And cleaning up! Literally the perfect sitter. She even watered our Christmas tree and brought mail in! Like, whaaaat? Can't thank her enough.

Miranda demonstrates a passion for animals and caring for them. We booked her to drop in and let our dog Teddy out and make sure he was cared for while we were on vacation. She showed up for our agreed upon schedule and more than met our expectations for care. She sent us regular updates about him and was accommodating to our requests. We would definitely book her in the future if we need someone to care for an animal.
I’ve known Miranda for several years and can confidently say she has a way with pets! I currently work along side her at a humane society where she cares for a large population of cats and dogs. She is patient and gentle with cats and pays particular attention to monitoring their overall health and quality of life. She makes fast friends with dogs and respects their comfort levels and body language. Miranda is my go-to pet sitter when I leave town and my dogs and cat love when she is around. She has plenty of experience administering medications and providing pets with the enrichment that helps them thrive. 10/10 recommend Miranda for any type of animal care.
Miranda is a wonderful pet caretaker! She is incredibly knowledgeable about best care practices and often answers my many cat related questions. Her shelter experience leads me to trust her judgment more than my own or a quick Google search and I know that she can handle any situation that’s thrown her way. I don’t know if there’s ever been a pet that didn’t fall in love with Miranda, she even won over my cat who hates everyone! She is friendly and reliable and takes great pet photos! She has experience with a variety of pets across the life span and varying health conditions and has the level of knowledge one can only dream of in a pet sitter. She also took care of me after surgery not too long ago so if she can manage that she can certainly give your fur babies the best care!

Schedule
I work 7-4:30 M-F. Depending on the distance, I can drop in during my lunch break for midday potty breaks as well as seeing your pets before or after work. I'm looking forward to caring for your babies!
