Hi! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly love. I currently have three cats and I have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. I started volunteering at animal shelters in high school and currently volunteer+foster through HRA in DC. This experience helped me learn to read body language, build trust with nervous animals, and stay calm and patient in new situations. Additionally, I work as a dog groomer, so I’m used to handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve been trained to care for bottle babies and I’m certified in Fear Free handling. I always focus on making pets feel safe and secure. I have experience giving medications and will carefully follow any specific instructions your pet may need. I truly will treat your pets like my own. I care deeply about making sure they feel loved, safe, and well cared for while you’re away and I’ll keep you updated so you can feel at ease, too! 🐾

Miranda helped me out in a pinch and sent so many adorable pictures of my lil kitty❤️ my senior cat is picky and he seemed to eat up his food easily thanks to Miranda following his feeding instructions perfectly! appreciate her so much!
Miranda is currently doing an amazing job watching my two dogs! Highly recommend her. Very communicative and sends great photos! She comforted my 22 pound tripod during the storm and loved on my hyper reactive big dog!

Schedule
I currently have a flexible schedule and intentionally build my days around the pets I’m caring for, so your babies will never feel rushed or squeezed in. I make sure every visit includes quality time, not just the basics.

I have lots of experience with dogs and cats with a variety of personalities and will work hard to make sure your pets are as comfortable as possible. I love getting to know the little quirks that make your babies special! In your home, I do my best to keep your pet’s routine consistent such as mealtimes, walks, play, and quiet time so that everything feels familiar and low-stress. I’m very mindful of doors, leashes, feeding instructions, and any safety details you share, and I always leave your home just as I found it.

I love getting to know what makes your pets unique and what things they find fun! Whether they prefer to go for long walks or hikes, run around the dog park, or cuddle up with a movie I will make sure they are happy.
