I have over 9 years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, including grooming, basic training, and pet sitting. I’ve worked with pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I was actively involved with my local humane society in Arizona where I fostered multiple litters of puppies as well as dogs with complex trauma backgrounds, helping them build trust, confidence, and readiness for their furever homes. That experience taught me patience, calm handling, and how to read animal body language closely. I also have two kitty boys of my own and have helped care for several new litters, so I’m very comfortable with kittens and multi-cat households. At home I have a very friendly, well-socialized Australian Cattle Dog who is also my trained service animal. She has excellent manners, is welcoming around other animals, and has helped me deepen my understanding of structure, training, and positive reinforcement. I truly love animals and treat every pet like family, focusing on safety, comfort, and individualized care.

My approach to pet care is calm, attentive, and tailored to each animal’s needs and routine. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely so pets feel safe and comfortable with familiar schedules, feeding times, and boundaries. In a client’s home, I respect the pet’s normal environment and keep things consistent. I provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and calm companionship. I also send updates and photos so owners feel connected and reassured. If caring for pets in my home, I create a safe and structured environment with plenty of supervision. Pets are never left unattended for long periods, and I prioritize slow introductions and compatibility if other animals are present. My home is pet-friendly and calm, with space to relax as well as engage in enrichment and play. Overall, I focus on safety, communication, and making sure each pet feels secure, loved, and well cared for while their family is away.

Miranda has been amazing with my Mini Australian Shepherd puppy, Bowie. Herding breeds can be challenging, especially during the puppy stage, and she has handled his energy, jumping, puppy antics, and training needs with patience and confidence. Her experience with herding dogs really shows. She is incredibly communicative, sends detailed updates, and always keeps me informed about how he's doing. Most importantly, I know Bowie is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention when he's with her. She has been reliable, flexible, and genuinely caring, even helping on short notice when I needed it. I highly recommend Miranda to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy sitter. Schedule
I’m a small business owner, which gives me a flexible schedule and the ability to intentionally build pet care into my daily routine. I plan my days so I can give pets the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. Working with animals has always been something that fills my cup, and I’ve really missed having that regular connection with pets. Now that I’ve moved to a more populated area and have more flexibility, I’m excited to work with animals again and support my community in a way that I’m naturally good at. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze in — it’s something I genuinely enjoy making time for. I love building trust with animals and creating a calm, positive experience for them while their owners are away.
