I'm a Salisbury University graduate excited to spend time with your pets! I grew up with dogs, a cat, and a variety of small animals including hamsters, mice, rats, and guinea pigs. I currently have an 8 year old Australian Shepherd and a 5 year old buff tabby cat myself, and my parents have an 8 year old Great Dane and 13 year old Lab. I also have some experience with training and if your dog needs additional work and/or structure in their life, I am happy to provide that. I will care for your pets as if they were my own and they will receive tons of love and attention. I send photos with every visit and will do my best to ensure you are completely comfortable trusting me with your furry family members. ***𝗗𝗥𝗢𝗣-𝗜𝗡𝗦 & 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞𝗦*** I'm available for walking and drop-ins for those who need their pets to be cared for during the day. When scheduling, I offer you a small window of time rather than an exact arrival time. For example, if you request 12pm, I may offer you 11am-1pm and arrive any time in that window, depending on the rest of my route for that day. If your pet is on a strict schedule, you may be better off reaching out to a different sitter. I also offer 2-4 hour "adventure walks" where I pick up your pup and take them on a hike or other adventure either solo or alongside another dog based on compatible temperaments and client preferences. Feel free to ask for more details if this is something you're interested in! ***𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚*** House sitting includes 12 hours overnight and 1-2 drop-ins during the day, depending on my schedule. Please keep in mind that I have other pets to care for during the day and will be out of the house for up to 8 hours (often less). I will generally not be available to stay in your home 24/7. Exceptions may be made if requested at least 3 months in advance, and at additional cost. ***𝗕𝗢𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚*** At this time, I only accept crate-trained (able to settle quietly in a crate) dogs in my home for boarding. All dogs are crated when unsupervised and at mealtimes. My townhome has a small, fenced, gravel backyard for your pups to potty and play. I am out of the house for roughly 6-8 hours each day for my daily visits, so pups who are used to spending the day home alone will be most comfortable here. Rest assured though - they will get plenty of love in the mornings and evenings! When requesting boarding I will send you a questionnaire and if it seems like a good fit, I will invite you to meet me in the neighborhood or at a nearby park. I am not currently allowing tours inside the home, but I am happy to send you a video tour. I have a slow introduction process and dogs from different households are usually kept separated to limit opportunity for overstimulation and potential "disagreements" between dogs. Basic grooming services (nail trim, bath, brush, blow dry) and extra walks/field trips can also be added to boarding stays for an additional fee.
