Pet care experience
I grew up around an array of animals, from dogs and cats, to scaly and feathery things. So that natural love for all animals turned into the passion to help care for these incredible creatures. I chose to go to school and take the vet tech work course for a while before finding myself working as a zookeeper for a couple years. I've now found myself back into the veterinary field though and I work as a receptionist here at Pet Haven Veterinary Clinic, and I absolutely love it! With my experience with exotic animals though I have confidence that I can give exotic pet owners confidence that their animals will be well taken care of as well. Exotic pet parents need vacations also! I currently own an Australian Shepherd named Bindi and an Anatolian Shepherd named Sadie, and they are my world! But I also have a cat, bearded dragon, 2 leopard geckos, guinea pig, and a couple fish tanks. From my past professional and personal experience dealing with various types of dogs and animal personalities, I have full confidence that I can comfortably handle even the most timid of pets.
