Hi, I'm Miranda, lover of all things fluffy, scaly, feathery, etc. I formerly house-sat on Rover during college and made life-long furry and human friends from it. I now have a little fur family of my own, so I can't house-sit, but can still offer drop-in services and walks. My experience with animals dates back to bringing home stray kittens at five year old, but formally begins at 16, when I immediately began volunteering at shelters and haven't stopped since. I was with Wild Again, where we rescued domestic and farm animals, but also rehabilitated wildlife, for seven years as Outreach Coordinator and animal care technician. I also foster and work with various rescues in the area, Adopt a Pit and LiFeline rescue. I dog-sat professionally for about 6 years, and have extensive knowledge of all types of animals. I'm always looking to better educate myself about animals, and have many certifications and classes under my belt, as well as personal research I do to better my own pets' and animals at the rescues' lives.
