With over 20 years of professional experience caring for dogs, I provide attentive, personalised care so you can travel with complete peace of mind. Originally from Canada—where dogs are cherished as family—I previously owned and operated a dog walking and boarding business before relocating to Spain. I’m now a stay-at-home mum offering a home-style, boutique boarding experience with a strong focus on comfort, routine, and individual attention. While you’re away, you’ll receive regular updates and beautiful photos, so you always feel connected and reassured. Our home is shared with two kind, respectful children and two friendly young family dogs who welcome guests naturally and gently. We’re also just a two-minute walk from the beach, offering lovely seaside strolls for dogs who enjoy the ocean air and sand beneath their paws. Además, vivimos a solo dos minutos caminando de la playa, lo que nos permite disfrutar de agradables paseos junto al mar para aquellos perros que aman el aire marino y la arena bajo sus patas. Miranda was always my first choice when both my boys (Lopez- staffy x & Bruno -Tibetan Terrier) needed looking after. Her and her family (husband and two kids) made sure my boys felt welcomed by making them part of their family. The dogs will ALWAYS be exercised, and always have plenty of enrichment activities to do. Miranda has dogs of her own, which was also a bonus, because THEY too are very welcoming. If you are in need of a good dog sitter, i definitely recommend Miranda & Co.
Managing our giant, goofy goldendoodle and a spunky, fearless small white terrier is no small feat, but you handle them with absolute perfection Miranda! They have completely different personalities, sizes, and energy levels, yet both always get exactly what they need. It is such a relief knowing my odd-couple is in the hands of someone with so much experience. Five stars aren't enough!
We are thrilled to leave a positive testimonial for Miranda. She walked Merlin, our Great Dane, every morning at 9:30, and he knew it. He would sit by the window waiting for her, tail wagging in anticipation. Her consistency and the bond she built with him were incredible. Miranda didn’t just walk Merlin—she incorporated gentle training techniques into his routines and always made sure he was having fun. She regularly took him to the dog park to play fetch and socialize, which he absolutely loved. When we were away, Miranda stayed in our home for two weeks, caring for Merlin as if he were her own. He was happy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after—and we returned to a house that was spotless and beautifully cared for. We couldn’t have asked for better care or peace of mind.
Miranda has been caring for our dogs since she first started her business 18 years ago, and we trust her completely. Nothing is more reassuring than seeing how much our Mikka loves her and her family. Whenever we’re away, we receive constant communication and so many sweet photos, which gives us total peace of mind. Miranda has truly grown up with our dogs, caring for them from puppyhood all the way through their senior years.
Miranda has looked after our dog, Pickle, numerous times, including one stay of over 10 days, and we honestly couldn’t ask for anyone better. Pickle absolutely adores her and is always so happy to go to her house, which says everything. He’s incredibly well cared for, settled, and clearly treated like part of the family. We always have complete peace of mind knowing he’s with Miranda, and it’s obvious how much love and attention she gives him. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional dog care.

Schedule
As a stay-at-home mum, my days are flexible and centered around spending quality time with pets. While my children are at school most days, I dedicate the majority of my time to outdoor activities with dogs—whether it’s hiking through scenic trails, running along the beach, or enjoying long walks. This routine allows me to provide consistent exercise, stimulation, and one-on-one attention for every pet in my care.

In my home, pets enjoy a safe, spacious environment where they can play, explore, and get plenty of exercise. My own dogs receive long walks and runs each day, and your pet would have access to our large, fully fenced yard for supervised playtime and outdoor fun. For safety and routine, dogs are gently crated when I am out, ensuring they are comfortable, secure, and well-rested. Each day is designed to balance exercise, play, and relaxation, so every pet feels happy and cared for.

A typical day
My days are built around balance, routine, and lots of time outdoors. I begin by picking up and dropping off my children at school and fitting in a gym session, but the rest of my day is happily devoted to the dogs in my care. Your dog will likely have more fun than you! I love spending time playing in the yard with toys, playing hide-and-seek, going for runs, and enjoying long walks along the beach. For dogs who enjoy adventure, I also love hiking in the beautiful areas of Dénia, Gandía, Oliva, and Calpe. With experience in dog training, I naturally incorporate gentle training techniques into daily routines—whether during stays or on walks—always in a positive and engaging way. This truly is my dream job. Dogs are my passion, and every day is centered around keeping them happy, active, and deeply cared for.
