I currently work part time (10-15 hours a month) from home so I have all the time to dedicate to animal care. Weekends are spent exploring green spaces and local neighbourhoods.

I have a fenced in yard, no outside the home commitments so have plenty of time to dedicate to animal care. Have a 2 level home with gates at the stairs as a precautionary measure.

Whether they are okay with children, especially toddlers. Do they require a special feeding schedule, or any unique requirements for sleeping that are beyond what a typical house would have.
A typical day
I love to explore green spaces. There’s so many places to explore in HRM. I live beside the COLT so easily accessible for longer walks. I have a car so can access nature trails like Hemlock Ravine, Frog Pond or Long Lake. My husband is a trail runner so if a dog knows how to run on a leash then he would be happy to do that.

I’ve had pets my whole life, I love animals. I have the time to take dogs for long walks on trails. I love to explore the beautiful green spaces around Halifax, your dog would be the perfect exploring companion.

Miranda and her family were most accommodating. Finnegan was happy with his two day visits. I felt bad that their daughter was soooo upset when we picked him up each day. The only reason for the four stars is that there seemed to be a challenge communicating via the app. Once we connected via our cell #’s things ran a bit more smoothly….oh and major construction around their neighborhood created a challenge in getting to them…would recommend, and utilize their service again if we return to the area.
Once again, Miranda was an incredible Host showing our Opie kindness and love. She sent updates and pictures over the days he was there. Thank you!

Miranda and her family were great with Frankie! Got him lots of exercise and cuddles. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up too.
