I used to be an IT professional, retired recently after both my kids graduated from college. Now we are empty-nested with no pets no kids. ☺️ I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days for pet sitting, walking, and playtime. When I am going to run some errands, my husband who is working at home and also a pet-lover will watch the fur baby so he/she is accompanied most of the time. Need a daytime solution for your furry friend? I also provide flexible Doggy Day Care alongside my regular boarding services. For all new clients, the first step is always a Meet & Greet to ensure we're a perfect match for your pup！

My journey into Rover boarding comes from a place of deep love for dogs. After 11 wonderful years together, my beloved dog passed away two years ago. While my heart has healed, I missed the joyful energy, the sound of paws on the floor, and the companionship of a dog in the house. I chose to start pet boarding because it allows me to pour all that lifetime of accumulated love, patience, and spoiling into your furry baby! When your pet stays with me, they won't just be "looked after"—they will be treated with the exact same deep devotion, warmth, and care that I gave my own boy for over a decade. I will only take one pet a time for boarding. Pet will enjoy completely unrestricted, free roam of our home, plenty of one-on-one attention, and a daily routine tailored exactly to their comfort level. Please bring your pets food and treats. If your pet has favorite bed/blanket/toy, bring them, otherwise they can use our dog bed, our sofa and, my bed! Small or medium size dogs (<40 lb).

I like to learn about your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, personality, and any medical needs so I can provide the safest and most comfortable care possible.
A typical day
We have a big house in a very nice neighborhood and I am home most of the time, which allows me to provide attentive and consistent care. I typically only sit one pet at a time so yours will receive full attention, regular check-ins, and a calm, safe environment while you’re away. I love lap dogs who just want to cuddle, while my husband loves active dogs and enjoys taking them for walks through the local forest preserves, so offer the best of both worlds！ My yard is not fenced so I will walk the dog at least two times a day in our nice and quiet neighborhood. I speak English and Chinese.
