Our schedule is flexible. We typically go for a walk in the morning before or after breakfast and after dinner, with a potty break around lunch and before bedtime. On weekends our schedule is even more flexible depending on the weather!

My dog Rio has separation anxiety, so he and your dog will typically not be left home alone without direct supervision during day care. If they are staying for boarding, they must be able to be home alone for at least 2 hours in case we may need to run errands. Rio would either be at a friends or separate daycare at that time. Since Rio is a senior, he enjoys the company of other dogs but does not usually engage in play. Please note that I do not leave toys out during stays to prevent resource guarding issues due to past experiences. If your dog has destructive tendencies without toys or requires constant stimulation during the day, we may not be the best fit.

Information Minha C. would like to know about your pet
What is your typical daily routine? (Potty schedule, meal schedule, exercise schedule) Is your dog comfortable being home alone? If so, for how long? Any food sensitivities or allergies? Does your dog have any behaviors I should be aware of? (Eg, reactivity, fears, noise sensitivity, anxiety, separation anxiety) Is your dog on any medications? Is your dog comfortable in a car? Is your dog allowed on the furniture? What other rules do you enforce in your home with your dog?

We like to go on walks around our neighborhood or to the Ballard Locks. We do not visit dog parks.

Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Minha, and I live in Ballard with my 10 year old Samoyed Rio. I work from home full time so I am able to provide potty breaks and/or walks throughout the day. I have experience with reactive and fearful dogs and can provide oral medications. If you’re looking for a dog sitter and your dog would like to make a new friend, we would love to meet you :)
Reviews

Minha was amazing with our sweet, shy Posie. Lots of photos for the long weekend checking in, which we love. Posie takes a while to warm up to new people and dogs and Minha and Rio were super patient and understanding. 10/10!

Zarya always has a blast hanging out with Minha & Rio. She always comes back happy and tired out from all the fun she has had!

Minha boarded our shiba for a week and he had a wonderful time with Rio. Her care was excellent and I would highly recommend her!

Minha and Rio are the best! Our pup is quite nervous and can be reactive to new strangers, but she loved being with Rio and Minha. Minha provided lots of photos and updates. She also was very patient with our pup and took the time prior to the day care to understand any special needs our dog had. Our pup can’t wait to go back :)
