As a lifelong pet lover, I offer a unique blend of experience with both high-maintenance breeds and large, powerful dogs. For three years, I raised a Ragdoll cat, which taught me the patience and attention to detail required for long-haired breeds—from meticulous grooming to managing sensitive temperaments. After moving to the U.S., I adopted a Great Pyrenees puppy (now 1.5 years old). Raising a rescue giant has given me hands-on experience in positive reinforcement training and managing large breeds with strength and confidence. Beyond my own pets, I have been a trusted sitter for neighbors, providing drop-in visits for cats (feeding, water refreshing, and litter box maintenance) and hosting overnight stays for small breeds like Maltese. Safety, trust & environment
In My Home: I prioritize safety and comfort above everything else. My apartment features carpeted flooring in the living room, which provides excellent traction and prevents joint strain for active pups during playtime. For outdoor time, I have a fully fenced private yard right at my doorstep for play space and fresh air. Your dog will also have a friendly playmate—my 1.5-year-old Great Pyrenees, who is well-socialized and loves making new friends! If your dog enjoys more space to run, I live right next to a securely fenced dog park, where I can take them for some high-energy exercise in a safe, controlled environment. In Your Home / Drop-ins: I treat your home and pets with the utmost respect. During drop-in visits (especially for cats), I follow a strict safety checklist: • Ensuring all doors/gates are securely locked. • Checking that no hazardous items are within reach. • Following your exact feeding and medication schedule. • Providing detailed photo updates and reports after every visit so you know your pets are safe, happy, and well-cared for.

Both my cats love Mingjie, which shows what a good sitter she is (because one of my cats is super shy but he totally remembered her from 3 months ago!) She plays with my kitties so much and takes tons of photos! I no longer have to worry when I have to go away because I know my cats are in good hands!
Mingjie was so great with my two cats. This was the first time I used Rover to have someone sit my cats at home (instead of taking them to a kennel), so I was nervous, but Mingjie instantly put me at ease. One of my cats tends to be really shy around strangers, but by the second day, he was snuggling & playing with Mingjie, thanks to her patience & care. She made sure the food, water, and litter were refilled, along with supplying lots of snuggles and playtime with my cats! I definitely plan to use her and again and highly recommend her!
I cannot recommend Mingjie enough! She watched my two cats, Friday and Lucky, and provided the most incredible peace of mind. What really sets her apart is her professionalism and responsibility. She used a body camera during her visits so I could see exactly how my cats were doing in real-time. She is incredibly friendly and clearly has a heart for animals. She didn’t just feed them; she truly loved playing with them, and Friday and Lucky took to her immediately. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy who goes the extra mile, she is the one!"
She did an amazing job taking care of my kitten. She was very responsible, communicative, and attentive to details. My kitten was well-fed, happy, and comfortable. I really appreciated the updates and photos she sent. It gave me so much peace of mind. Highly recommend!
Mingjie was so wonderful with our two kitty babies. She was professional, empathetic, communicative, responsive in all our interactions. She was sweet with the kitties, played nicely with them, gave them medicine, and cleaned up more than her fair share of messes from the cats who seemed to want to test her in every way possible. We look forward to working with her again in the future!

Schedule
I currently work part-time, which allows me to be very flexible and dedicated during my "on-duty" hours. My current availability is as follows: • Mon & Tue: Available between 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM for midday walks/drop-ins, and anytime after 7:30 PM for evening visits. • Thu & Fri: Available for evening care after 7:30 PM. • Weekends: Fully available after 2:30 PM for afternoon strolls, playdates, or overnight boarding. Since I manage my own schedule, I am very responsive to messages and can often accommodate last-minute requests during these windows. When your pet is with me, they are my top priority!

- I like to learn as much as possible about a pet before our time together so I can provide safe and personalized care. Helpful information includes their daily routine, feeding schedule, potty habits, leash manners, and any known behavioral quirks or triggers. It’s also important for me to know about medical needs, allergies, medications, and emergency vet information. For dogs, I appreciate knowing how they interact with other dogs and people, whether they have any separation anxiety, and what helps them feel most comfortable in a new environment. The more I know ahead of time, the smoother and more enjoyable the experience will be for both the pet and their family.
