I am a Canine Good Citizen/Pet Tricks evaluator for the American Kennel Club. I have multiple pets at home, and therefore coming to your house would be ideal. I can crate dogs at my home, if needed, but would not want to have them crated for long periods.

Does your dog like other dogs? Cats? People? I would want to know your pets reactivity level before I take them out into the world. What quirks does your dog/cat have? What do I need to know to keep your pet safe and not feel threatened? I can work with whatever they need.
A typical day
I strive to engage with animals on their level. If they are high drive, I can engage them in stimulating play, if they just need love, we can cuddle. If they are just bored, we can try learning a trick. What ever level your furry friend is at, I hope to meet them there.

Pet care experience
I have always had multiple pets in my household, since before I could walk. Straight out of high school, I became a veterinary technician. I am now in human medicine, but my love for animals has not diminished, and in fact has grown. I have multiple pets at home, and in 2015 I started a nonprofit that helps train rescue dogs. I am comfortable with puppy’s, adults and senior dogs, as well as cats, fish, birds, turtles and other reptiles. My furry friends are part of my family, as I am sure yours are a part of yours. I do not take that responsibility lightly, and would be honored to care for your family member when you are unavailable.

Mindy is a true gift. She is incredibly dog savvy. She spent quality time with our dogs on her visit and fully met their needs. Our puppy got all the love she wants and our high needs heeler got to do some agility and have some training time which she adores. Many thanks for putting our mind at ease during our travels.
Mindy has been helping me with my dogs for decades! She is well versed in dog behavior and training. She runs a nonprofit to help with rescue and training for dog sports like Flyball. I absolutely trust her with my pets!
