My name is Mindy, and I look forward to being your housesitter. A little about me: • I have done a variety of housesits over the years. My sits have ranged from one night to several weeks at a time and have included tasks such as watering plants, filling bird feeders, bringing in mail, light gardening, shoveling snow, closing up chicken coops and animal pens for the night, taking out garbage & recyclables, and keeping the house tidy. • My sits, so far, have included caring for dogs, cats, goats, ducks, chickens, fish, a parakeet, a frog, a bearded dragon, and a worm farm. • I grew up in the northwoods of Wisconsin and had a ton of pets as a kid including horses, ducks, cats, gerbils, fish, rabbits, and, of course, dogs. • I have experience with pets who have special needs including blindness, seizures, cancer, and severe arthritis. • Does your pet have to take medication? No problem. I have experience with both oral and injected meds. • I was a Bio major in college and got the chance to do an internship at the Kansas City Zoo where I got to work with sea lions, kangaroos, chimpanzees, chinchillas, emus, and elephants, to name just a few. • I have volunteered at various humane societies as a dog walker and kennel cleaner. • I am a non-smoker.
