Mother and Son Dog Care Team
I'm a single mother to a 8 1/2 year old boy & we absolutely love having dogs in home with us! We currently have no dogs of our own, since losing our pitbull in 2018. Losing her was difficult, as she was with us through the most trying times- after my son's father passed away suddenly. She helped care for us & I'm looking for some furry little loves to share our home and time with to help fill her absence, as well as those fur parents who need loving sitters! I'm currently working part-time, and would love to have a couple fur babies to spend time with at home with my son in our down time. We are home literally every night, and I have a flexible schedule. I have one older kitty who lives in my room. He's completely closed off from all dogs and has never had any altercations, as his presence typically goes undetected. We have many dogs who are our regulars that are not cat friendly & have never seen him, as we keep my bedroom door closed. He also sleeps behind closed closet doors every night, so the there is no night mischief. We try to take two walks a day when dogs are with us, weather permitting! We take dogs to walk in grassy parks when the pavement is too hot. We live in a townhouse that has a fenced back yard that we share with two other rentals; we're a triplex. There is only one other dog in the community that is dog/human/kid friendly - although my neighbor and I typically peek out before letting the dogs loose so they have the yard to themselves. My back yard faces an open field on the edge of town, providing an incredibly safe, tucked away, and quiet neighborhood. My son is a loving child who displays love and sympathy for dogs. He loves to help, play, feed, give treats, and help walk them when the dog & him are appropriately matched. We've been operating for 4 years now and have taken care of homes, bunnies, chickens, dogs, goats, cats, and are willing to help with other house sitting duties such as picking up packages, mail, and watering gardens & plants. Minday was so amazing with Xena. She sent me videos and pictures throughput the stay which I absolutely loved!
Mindy is so responsive and loving with my dogs. They are big and crazy and she handles them so well.
We were so lucky to find Mindy to take care of our two cats on short notice. She provided lots of photo and video updates and was very responsive to our messages. Our one cat was more nervous and scared and she tried lots of things to make him more comfortable and make sure he was eating/drinking. You can tell she really cares about animals.
Mindy was awesome. She sent lots of pictures and videos of Jager playing and engaging with her. She definitely has a repeat customer!!
Mindy and her son took great care of Sam. She was responsive and Sam was happy and relaxed when we got home. We would definitely use her again:)

Schedule
My schedule is flexible and I'm around a lot, thankfully. I usually run out for 4 hours on Mondays and Thursdays for my part time job.

We abide by all owner rules! We have space for crates, and try to make it as easy going as possible! We have extra toys, treats, bowls, beds & belly rubs!
A typical day
We love walks and play fetch! We love walking next to the Colorado River on the Riverfront Trails, as well as we love going on drives so the dogs and us can enjoy some fresh air.
Prices include all fees.
