Fun, safe, happy home on 1/3 acre!
We are a happy couple with a couple of happy dogs! As lifelong dog owners, dog rescuers, dog sitters and dog lovers, we have BIG hearts and a fun yard with a pool for your pups. We're more medium and big dog people with a 40-lb big-eared, blue-eyed rescue, David, a new puppy born in May 2024 who is a mellow, easy Labradoodle, Stosh, and a 70-lb, Wire-haired Pointing Griffon, Ken Griffey. They are a dynamic trio who love visiting dogs who like to play and chill. Dogs are allowed on our furniture and bed, whatever makes them feel at home. :) We have cared for special needs dogs, our most recent loss, our beautiful chocolate lab Jane Austen, was a 13 year-old with severe epilepsy. So we're used to medications, scheduled meals and being patient and caring for seniors and special needs. We will take only one or two families of dogs at a time -- one, two or three dogs from the same family so that you receive all of our focus and energy for the dog(s)' stay with us.

Mindy & Brian were so good with our Bubba the bulldog! I was incredibly anxious dropping him off at somebody’s house for an entire week, but they took care of him so well! The pictures and videos we received were so cute & it made me feel better how Bubba was so well taken care of and having fun with their pups! We’ve tried a few other places for boarding, but Mindy & Brian have been the best so far taking care of Bubba! Will definitely be keeping them in mind for future trips. So great! Thank you Mindy & Brian for a stress free holiday trip.

When we found ourselves in need of last minute dog care, Mindy and Brian were there with a quick reply that they could help. They provided a warm and caring place for our pup, complete with some dog friends to hang out with. They seem to genuinely enjoy the company of their dogs and made our dog feel right at home. She was a happy girl at pickup. Couldn’t have asked for more.
Mindy and Brian took wonderful care of our 3 pups. We received regular updates and the cutest pics. It was great to see them having fun with their other dogs and enjoying the yard and some time snuggled on the bed. We had recently moved to the area and it was really reassuring to know they were being so well cared for on our first trip away.
Pedro had a wonderful time! This was our first time using Rover and we couldn't have been more pleased. Mindy was awesome! She sent pics of Pedro and updates during his stay in her beautiful home. Pedro is sometimes grumpy, but was very relaxed and happy staying with Mindy and her pups. He is already looking forward to his next visit!

Schedule
We both work from home so most often there is at least one person home all day. Dogs have easy access to our large, fully fenced backyard with pool. Depending on the dog(s), we can keep doors open or closed and supervise outdoor play and potty every 0-2 hours. All dogs are kept inside our house for nighttime and sleep.

Safety, trust & environment
We do have a fully fenced yard with our two dogs and we can keep pups inside with outside access. We can easily partition our home as it is a roomy ranch-style. We can provide your pup with crate time if that's your preference. We are within 1 mile of more than one Vet Clinic and fairly close to a 24-hour emergency clinic.
Pets
A typical day
We have a fun property with lots of safe, fenced-in areas and levels to explore and smell. We have a pool so we will chat with you and your wishes about your dog's comfort. We will care for only one family at a time so we can focus our attention and our own dogs' attention on you as our visiting pup(s). We have a home with rooms that can easily be partitioned off if quiet space is needed. We work from home so we are almost always around to hang with and chill. Lots of dog beds and we do have a crate or two if needed and desired.
