I prefer to petsit at my client’s homes. The animals rather appreciate this. I like to meet the animal(s) before sitting so when I arrive, we have a connection. I give the animals plenty of one-on-one attention. This may include doggy massage to calm them and get to know them. Lots of walks if they like that. Potty Breaks every couple of hours to begin with, as they’re sometimes nervous or have stomach upsets. I’d like to know your favorite names for them, what your routines are, rituals, their favorite things to do. I’ve also stayed with animals after their surgeries to monitor when the owner has to work.

A typical day
Well, depending on the pet, I like to do what an owner would do. Their favorite games, special rituals, massages, walks are important if they’re able. Depending on age, mobility etc., .I love cats, and if they want to interact, I do!

Hello! I’ve been loving and caring for local pets for around 25 yrs. Some pets were young pups and kittens; some were older seniors. I specialize in petsitting at my clients homes. My longest pet sitting job was 3.5 weeks while the owners were in Italy. I have many referrals. I’ve taken care of miniature horses, Friesian horses, and a pig. (We have a lot of rural homes in Auburn area).

Mindi has been my go-to pet support person several times. She is an animal lover who treats all animals with love and patience. Mindi sent me updates and pictures when I was away and made me feel like my girl was getting the kind of attention that she is accustomed to when I am home. Having to leave a family member while you are out of town is never a good feeling. I know that when I can't be there, my dog has a great friend and caregiver in Mindi.
Mindi is a wonderful pet sitter. She has watched my dogs, cats and horses in my home while we have been on extended vacations for many years. She is very knowledgeable and knows when to call the vet. Mindi will send pictures and updates to let you know that your fur babies are well and content. She is honest,reliable and can be counted upon. I would not hesitate to recommend her for pet sitting.
Mindi is magnificent. My dog Jake recently passed over the rainbow at 17.5 yrs. Mindi took care of him for ten yrs when I would travel. She stayed 24/7 with him at the end. She really monitored his potty and no problems in home. She would give doggy massages, regular play and he loved her. Mindi also sits my cousins dogs 2 teacups. They also adore her both humans and dogs. I can't say enough. Book her.
