I cared for a senior cat who suffered from cancer, IBD, pancreatitis, hyperthyroidism, anemia, and required a blood transfusion. It was a difficult journey, but together, we made it through over 11 years. I took him to the vet, and after surgery, he successfully recovered. I provided daily medication, cleaned his wounds, changed his food flavors, and administered subcutaneous fluids. In October, at 17 years old, he reached the end stage of chronic kidney disease. I learned to provide hospice care, including syringe feeding liquid food. Now, I have another 17-year-old cat. She is healthy and beautiful, though she faces occasional constipation. I use a syringe to feed her digestive supplements, and she’s doing well with it.

A typical day
I enjoy playing with my cat using the Da Bird toy, especially when I stuff it with catnip. My cat loves chasing it, grabbing hold, and rolling around on the floor in delight.
