Shy, small, medium dog bestie!
I've cared for pets for over 15 years but now focus on small, medium, shy, and sometimes awkward dogs (let's be honest, who's not a little awkward post pandemic?). As someone with a 7-year-old small shy pup, I have a great understanding of their unique little personalities and ways to socialize shy pups safely. I cap hosting to 3 dogs at any given point to ensure fun and safe socialization. I started specializing in small groups of shy dogs when it was a challenge to find small safe play groups for my pup. I figured that there are other doggie moms and dads out there with a similar challenge, especially post pandemic. NOTE: If you have an especially timid pup, I will ask for a series of socialization to ensure that everyone has the best experience. This will likely mean a few playdates and half days of doggie daycare prior to boarding. I can assess during our meet and greet. Rates for doggie daycare are for 8 hour blocks, an additional $24 for anything over 8 hours. I have a flexible WFH schedule so I am often available for boarding, dog walks, and visits. This also means that I have the time to take great care of your fur baby! I am not able to take pups with separation anxiety, pups under 2 years old, or pups who bark excessively. I am a snuggly and compassionate doggie lover, love my time with my furry buddies, and I'm committed to all entrusted in my care.

As always, Mimi was great with Purple! She sent lots of pictures and updates, and Purple came home happy and tired :) highly recommend!

Schedule
I work from home and have an enclosed yard so pups get potty breaks every 3 hours and can sunbathe during the day. Reliable pet care is integrated into my daily life. Doggies get tons of love, scritches, and socialization alongside my small pup. Earliest drop offs are at 730am, latest pickup at 830pm. This is to preserve peace with my neighbors.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a house and have a fenced deck and yard so your fur baby can come romp around outside safely while under watch. Plus there's my gentle fur baby to keep your dog company. We also live in a super safe neighborhood and walks are fun breaks in my day. I do ask that any guest pups have flea and tick protection. Unfortunately, we can not take pups without it. We will also ask for a meet and greet to ensure compatibility. For the safety and fun of all pups, I only host compatible pups and cap attendance at 3 dogs + mine.

I'd love to understand what activities your dog enjoys and anything special they may need during their stay to be happier and more comfortable. I am a big believer of positive reinforcements through verbal affirmation and chicken-free treats. Please be honest about your pups quirks. I love learning about them, can provide socialization to balance them if needed. It will help ensure a more fruitful stay.
