Hello! I'm Milo, a playful and caring lover of animals and the outdoors! As a lifetime lover and caretaker of dogs and a new cat parent, I promise that the only creatures I could possibly love more than your pet(s) are my own. I grew up primarily with small dogs in the house, but have more recently taken care of and walk my partner's family's larger dogs, including a shy and skittish Australian Shepherd, a weighty Rhodesian Ridgeback recovering from a torn doggy ACL, and a sweet but havoc-wreaking pit bull mix. I am a highly active person and feel that the longer and more playful the walk, the better (though I will always adjust to the dog-in-question's needs)! Most, if not all, of my pet care experience has been centered around dogs with special needs- I've been administering medication for my family's aging dog and encouraging gentle exercise for the past few years, have walked a very skittish and wary rescue after forming a trusting bond, and have helped a dog recovery from a torn doggy ACL. In addition to caring for dogs, I have recently become a very thrilled parent to a kitten from the Richmond SPCA. I have been caring for and spoiling her as she has grown over the three months she has been with our family. Prior to getting our kitten, I regularly took care of my roommate's cat when needed. Although I am fairly new to the cat lifestyle, my passion for the incredible creatures outweighs my experience!
