I'm currently taking some time off from working as a waitress to take a couple of summer courses in order to apply to be a nurse in the fall. These courses will be online and "go at your own pace" so because of that, I will be available almost 24/7.

I basically treat my dogs as if they were my own human children, they eat everything I eat, they're walked at their favourite locations every day, I've knitted the two little ones entire wardrobes of sweaters and spent an excessive amount of money on pet accessories and toys.

Just let me know if your dog has any quirks beforehand such as pulling on the leash, behaviour around other dogs or any other special needs and I'd be more than happy to accommodate whatever those needs may be. Thanks.

Pet care experience

I have been an animal lover my entire life, when I was younger I was always the kid to stand up for the poor frogs, snakes and spiders that fell victim to grabby hands at the neighbourhood park. Once I broke my collarbone while walking my grandmother's dog because she started to chase a squirrel and I let her pull me down half the trail afraid to let go of the leash and allow her to run away. My family already has three dogs, two cats and a bird so we've hit maximum capacity and if I don't spend some time with someone else's dog a couple times a week I will buy another dog for myself and I really, really shouldn't.

My dog Artie had a wonderful time with Millie and her family. I was nervous as he's an older dog who hasn't been apart from me for any extended periods. He was having such a great time, I felt guilty coming back. He will stay with them again, I.am sure.

Millie was very nice and did an amazing job taking care of my cats when I was away. They checked up them during the holidays, and even visited twice in a day when one cat wasn’t feeling so well. Very communicative, it was clear that they truly cared for the cats. I would definitely recommend Millie and book with them again.

Millie was absolutely exceptional with our two fur babies! As a pet parent, finding someone dependable, trustworthy and compassionate to care for our furry family members is of utmost importance and to me and my husband, we couldn’t have been luckier to have found Millie! Millie went above and beyond all aspects of pet sitting, she always texted back and, of course, made our days with pictures of our two kitties. What stood out the most for us was the fact that Millie connected with our super shy and nervous kitty in just two days! He usually hides under the bed or couch when strangers come along and it took him a very long time to come out and be comfortable with my mother. So that really put a lot of ease on our brains during our 10 day vacation, knowing that he was coming out to play with Millie and just being comfortable around her! Millie provides personalized care and ensured that our kitties felt safe, loved, and comfortable in our absence - something that meant the world to us Thank you so much Millie!
