Taking care of your four legged best friend!
Pet care experience
I have been around dogs since I was 5 years old. Through personal family let’s I have helped train, care, nature and love all the 8 dogs that have been in my families lives. From puppy to senior dog, no dog is too big or too small, I adore them all. Friends and family will often leave their dog with me whilst away on holiday, I did 3 holiday stay overs last year alone. As someone who adores the outdoors as well, they both go hand in hand. I am safe, sensible and reliable and only want the best for you and your pet. I decided to join this because I am unable to get a dog in my current flat and I greatly miss being surrounded by furry friends and long walks.
Reviews
I was recommended Millie by a neighbour. I was heading back to work after COVID pandemic after WFH for the past 2 years. I was nervous to leave Pebbles on her own. However, I had nothing to be worried about. Bringing Millie onboard was the best decision. Pebbles is a rescue dog so is naturally nervous. However she instantly took to Millie who sat on the floor and cuddled and played with her for 20 minutes whilst we all got to know each other! It was so lovely to watch. Millie is GREAT with last minute requests too and will stop by all the time, even if I give her little notice. It’s been such a weight off my mind and has been an absolute pleasure working with her! 5*
Millie has looked after my dog Fitz for years. Every time I go on holiday or I'm away with work she pops round to walk, feed and make sure Fitz is okay. She stays at my house whilst we are away and when we return its like she never been there, the place is spotless and Fitz is perfectly looked after. She is sensible, caring and incredibly reliable as well as very sporty, so the dogs love the long walks. Fitz adores her and I sometimes question if Fitz prefers her walking him to me as he never wags his tail with me as much as he does with Millie. I originally asked Millie to start looking after Fitz after watching her with her family dogs- just so caring and attentive. She is great with dog training whilst out on walks and has excellent control. I have recommended her to my neighbours who still use her frequently and share the same admiration that I do. I trust no one more with my dog and I'm so glad that she is offering her services out to others so they can see just how wonderful she is with dogs too.

I am fully flexible in coming to whichever location your home is. I am polite, trustworthy and sensible so coming to other peoples home and staying in their homes is a regular for me whilst people are away. I am respectful for other peoples houses and would be as carefully as possible, with the upmost respect for you and your furry best friend. My typical style for collecting a dog for a walk or a mid afternoon break is calm (if the dog is unsure of me- this would hopefully change through love and care), cuddly and lots of affection, followed by a long walk trying to get to some greenery and to let you dog be able to sprint in the outdoors, finally when home, make sure they are rewarded a little treat, some more cuddles and to make sure your best friend is fed and watered. If you have any specific requirements please let me know as these can absolutely be added into the schedule!
Information Millie F. would like to know about your pet
Before a dog visit I would love to meet the owner and dog before; to give the owner peace of mind and also so the dog can understand my smell so I wouldn’t be a stranger. This will allow for a confident relationship to grow quickly between all of us. I would also check if the dog is on any medication or has any specific requirements that I need to complete.
A typical day
During the visit I would let them outside as soon as possible to get their legs stretched and to get their energy up. I would pick a route that had multiple terrain; grass in a park for running, concrete to help their nails and hills for exercise. I wouldn’t complete the same route every time as dogs are more energetic on new routes and more active. Keeping the same route would be boring.
