Hi, I’m Millie. I’ve been on Rover for a year now and it’s been such a lovely experience. I’ve met some great people and some even greater animals along the way and I’m really looking forward to meeting yours too. I grew up with my own pets and have looked after friends’ and family’s animals for years, so caring for pets feels very natural to me. I live in town and love getting out for walks, so dogs who enjoy stretching their legs will feel right at home. I’m caring and cautious by nature and always treat every animal as if they were my own. Bob had a lovely time when he was recently looked after by Millicent. He was a little nervous when he went in but we were sent plenty of updates to show him settling in well and making himself comfortable. It was a very hot day and he was kept cool on short shaded walks.
Millicent did a great walk with Rocky and provided loads of pupdates throughout - came home to a very happy dog 😊
I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my pup, Roux! Millicent was absolutely wonderful, attentive, kind, and clearly a natural with dogs. She kept me updated with lots of adorable pictures and thoughtful updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated how she asked questions to make sure Roux was completely comfortable and happy in her care. She was also incredibly flexible when my train was delayed, which made a stressful situation so much easier. Thank you, Millicent, for taking such great care of Roux. We’ll definitely be booking with you again!
Millicent was great with my dog. She kept me updated on how he was during the day with messages, photos & a video of them walking together in the afternoon. I would feel comfortable with leaving Scotty there anytime!

I fit pet care around my routine in a consistent and reliable way. This means I’m able to stick to your pet’s usual walk times, feeding schedule and any other routines that help them feel settled.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in their own home, I always focus on keeping their environment calm, familiar and safe. I follow your instructions carefully, make sure doors and gates are secure, and respect your home as well as your pet’s routine. When out on walks, I’m very mindful of safety. I stick to approved routes, keep dogs securely on leads where needed, and stay alert to traffic, other dogs and anything that could make a walk stressful or unsafe.
A typical day
A typical day with me is all about keeping your pet happy, relaxed and having fun. We’ll go on walks, have a good sniff around the park, play games (I love a bit of hide and seek with treats), and keep things calm and cosy at home too. If they like cuddles or just chilling out, I’m all for that. I’ll always stick to their routine and make sure they’re feeling safe, settled, and having a lovely time while you’re away.
