Since I was a child, I've had cats and dogs in the home. I'm very familiar with elder dogs with incontinence issues or needing multiple meds at diff times, puppies who chew, cats & dogs mixed, leash pulling/barking/jumping, caring for & walking 2 dogs or having 2 that need separate walks. I've been through it all and as someone has a habit of rescuing any animal I come across, my guarantee it giving your pets the best care. I truly am happy to and can easily make any adjustments, so if for ex: your dog needs to be solo, barks a ton, isnt house broken, chews, anything...just please make sure to communicate. In 2020, I spent a year fostering a very traumatized and reactive/aggressive puppy, it was a big leadning experience having to care for him and taught me a lot of skills. My dog is also a certified therapy dog (we volunteer visiting assisted living and hospitals). Her sweet temperment and low maintenance vibe helps me to give your pets focus, allows her to easily fit in with new & different faces. However, its about your comfort level & preference, so if there is any concern, I've got plenty of space (3 floors, 2200 sq ft), a 36 in & 48in crate, & adjustable gates to zone. I've been sitting, walking for years, so I'm easily adaptable to the dogs personality/temperament. I've been through multiple trainings with my own dog and reactive/aggressive dog training with my foster. As an owner myself, my goal is for you to feel comfortable & confident your pet(s) will receive the best specialized care. I'm currently working part time from home (fenced yard & dog park) so I've got availability, flexibility, and it helps for pups who need frequent walks/potty. I keep a watchful eye to make sure your loved ones dont have any issues and am flexible with my day, so I can tailor my services. I promise to read and follow any instructions, communicate & send updates/pics/videos throughout, treat your pet with great care, and be respectful of your space/animals. I'm here to help provide support, not make things harder. I also live alone I work part time from home which gives me availability and my work hours are flexible, so I'm able to prioritize your pet(s) and make sure their needs are met and they have a comfortable experience. **Beginning on for any appointments booked after 5/19/22, there is a $5 surcharge added ro total price for drop off and pick up times before 8 am & after 8pm** As a pet owner, I always stress when finding care for my pup, so I make it my mission to make sure your pet feels safe and keep you updated.

Schedule
I'm currently not working so home and available during pet stays. It also allows me to make sure pets get plenty of attention, go out frequently, and follow any routines. My days definitely revolve around the pets (which I love). I'm able to be flexible with pick up/drop off times and when scheduling meet and greets. I can be available as early as 5am and as late as midnight for owners.

I've been watching pets since college and as a pet owner, my top priority is making sure theyre happy, safe, comfortable, and their needs are met. I've got an active Durham County permit for boarding dogs and providing day care services in my home. I live alone with my 1 pup Luna who's also had a ton of experiences with dogs and cats of all sizes/ages. My mom is retired and lives down the street so able to help out if ever needed. I have a fenced back yard (6ft metal fence, yard is about 20ft x 15ft, with grass and a concrete patio). I am out any time the dogs are and make sure any poop is picked up immediately. I keep my house clean and mindful of maintaining a safe, pet friendly environment. I send daily updates/pics to owners.

A typical day
It depends, on your pet...for ex: I've had dogs the like to sleep in and dogs that the moment the whine, they need to go potty asap, no time for coffee or a matching outfit. The same with activities, if you've got a napper, then there's many comfty options. If you've got a high energy pup, then I'll go through all the toys bins and run around with you. If your pet is a sun goddess, I've got the outdoor set up to spend time out there relaxing. I've got baskets of toys, orthopedic dogs beds, doggy stairs for the king bed/couch (unless they're training to stay off), and I just started baking organic dog treats.
