I've had dogs all my life, and I cannot imagine life without them. Anywhere I travel, I always seem to make a new furry friend. I have many years of experience working with animals in various settings, including volunteering at shelters and working with service animals. I have always had a passion for animals and would like to pursue that in any way I can! You can see some silly/cute interactions I've had with animals on my profile if you'd like! During visits and drop-ins, I will be transparent in my feedback regarding your pets behavior while you're away. This ensures that you are receiving the best care for your pet and stay well informed during the visit. I will treat your pets as my own! Additionally, while I understand the importance of security cameras in maintaining a secure environment, I kindly request that you inform me if there are any security cameras in your home. Transparency is essential for building trust and ensuring the comfort of both your pets and myself while you're away. Rest assured, I respect your privacy and will treat your home with the utmost care and professionalism. Many of us have busy schedules, and caring for pets is very important to me. I work full-time and have a busy schedule myself. I am committed to caring for your pets and your home with love and dedication. I kindly ask for your understanding and respect for my time. If this arrangement doesn’t align with your expectations, I completely understand if you prefer to choose another caregiver. Our first time working with Rover and we were fortunate to have found a wonderfully patient and understanding Millie who gave great care to our senior labradoodle, princess Maya. Millie communicated throughout what activities they were engaged in and was sensitive to Maya's needs to take numerous walks and get lots of attention to assuage her separation anxiety. We highly recommend Millie to those who are looking for a high degree of thoughtful care of their four -legged family members.
Millie was very communicative; she was up front about when she’d be arriving/ when she’d have to leave and gave me daily updates and photos of my dog Sully, who looked very happy to be playing with her. It put my mind at ease while I was away on a work trip knowing she was tending to him so thoughtfully and keeping me informed of his activity throughout her stay in my home. She was very considerate of my space and I appreciated her thoughtful questions and updates. I trust her to take care of my baby and would definitely have her sit again in the future!

Schedule
I currently work full time 8am to 5pm M-F in Wilmington, North Carolina so please keep this in mind when booking. However my schedule is flexible on the weekends. I am happy to coordinate care with another sitter or family member should you need to flex time and schedule if youre having difficulty finding a good fit for your pet while youre away please just make sure this is clear when booking with me and I will adjust the price accordingly.
