I care for pets in a client's home by not trying to diverge them from their everyday schedule with their owner. For instance, if the pet usually gets treats or has exercise/play time at a specific time, I would stick to that schedule. Also, I try to create trust with dogs with appropriate treats, of course!

A typical day
We will go to the park (leashed, of course)! I love to walk dogs in more residential areas as well. We will do some running and rolling in the grass, and get the 411 on the neighborhood by stopping and enjoying all the new smells.

I have loved dogs since I got my first pup, a chihuahua, when I was 12. My family and neighbors were surprised that a middle schooler could do such a good job of taking care of a dog that they started to entrust me with their own pets. Ever since then, I have taken care of a range of dogs from teacups to German shepherds as well as cats and birds!

Milagros was a wonderful sitter for our puppy Meadow! She was communicative, sent plenty of pictures, followed all our instructions, and was even able to give Meadow her eyedrops (which is not easy to do!). We’ll definitely use Milagros again in the future.
