I am a Lifelong Animal lover, and my family has always been animal lovers. When I was in kindergarten, we had about fifteen birds! One day, a wild hawk flew into our yard - my dad fed it for a week before taking it to a rescue center. Not long after my brother brought home a little black stray dog and our home was never the same. Since then, I've shared my life with many different animals - dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, birds - For 18 years, I owned and operated my own grooming salon in several states as a self-employed owner and groomer. I cared for around 40-45 regular clients and also offered cage- free boarding, because I've always believed pets deserve comfort and freedom whenever possible. After my own dog once broke out of a vet's cage during recovery (something they'd never seen happen before!), I became even more passionate about creating calm, stress-free environments for pets. Though I later relocated and closed my grooming business, I've continued caring for animals - helping friends with pet-sitting and enjoying every chance to meet dogs and cats at the park or beach. After losing my three beloved dogs (each after 18 beautiful years), my home felt very quiet. Spending time with other people's pets bring that warmth and joy back into my heart. If your pet is shy or takes time to warm up to new people, I'll move up their pace-no pressure, just patience and care. I truly enjoy getting to know each animal's unique personality. Caring for pets is one of the most joyful and meaningful parts of my life. When I look after your furry family member, I treat them with the same love and attention you do - because they deserve nothing less. Note: I don't offer pet-sitting in my own home. My care is forcused on your pet's familiar environment, where they feel safest and happiest.
