I have had dogs most of my life and have always said if you want a pet get a fish but if you want family, get a dog. Dogs in my house are treated with respect and love. I have a 6 yr old German Shepherd that is my baby.

Can't say enough about how great with my shepherd mix puppy and is a true dog lover. She is as responsive and flexible as a host can get, and as a shepherd Mom herself has been a great resource for a new working dog owner. 5 stars for sure.

Schedule
I work from home so my dog is with me all the time. I have the freedom for walks, playing and minor training that I have learned working with my dog.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and doggie door so that the dogs can come and go as needed and spend a lot of time playing and interacting with them. My dog gets along with other dogs and likes to run and play. I do have a large crate if needed but I allow dogs to roam freely in my home and yard.
Pets
A typical day
I will take dogs for walks, play in the backyard, plenty of love and belly rubs. I like to do minor training (I am no professional but I have learned a few things from my trainers) to encourage good behavior and happy pups.
