I am respectful, kind, and trustworthy. Your pet(s)/household will be in safe, reliable hands with me. I have extensive experience with large dog breeds, too (grew up with Bernese Mountain Dogs). I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology, which deepened my understanding of animal behavior and wellbeing. I was a member of 4H Dog Club for several years and participated in obedience, showmanship, and agility competitions. I believe in treating others’ animals and property as I’d want someone to treat mine. Does your household have a particular routine or preferences? Just let me know. I want you and your family to be as comfortable as possible.

House sitting engagements will leave your property as if I was never there and your pets well loved and treated with the decency all living beings deserve. Cats and dogs-I’ve had one or both my entire life. I use positive reinforcement training on my own. I also offer to bring in the mail, take out the trash, water the plants, and feed the goldfish. You know, those little details that matter.

Mikiah spent two weeks house-sitting my 8-week-old Doberman puppy. He did an absolutely FANTASTIC job. He really helped to establish a consistent routine for the puppy, helping with crate-training, potty-training, and leash-training. It was not an easy job by any means, but Mikiah knocked it out of the park. I’m very glad I went with him!
Mikiah was lovely. Very sweet and gentle, and communicated well. I would love to see him again.
Our cammy loved Mikiah!! Came back to a clean house and a happy sleepy dog. We received photos of our floof throughout his stay and updates on how he was doing. Mikiah even brought in some large unexpected packages we received while we were away. We will definitely be consistently using Mikiah in the future!!

Mikiah was great with my Husky. He was so accommodating, kind, and left my house tidy and clean. I really appreciate how he communicated and worked with me, even when we had some house problems. My dog was happy and spoiled when I came home and isn't that all that matters? I will definitely rebook Mikiah in the future.
