Lots of love, care & attention!
I'm a musician & nonprofit administrator (WFH) with flexibility in my schedule and a lot of love and care to give! My late dog was reactive and I constantly had to be attuned to her emotional state, so I understand the nuances of dog personalities, though every dog teaches me something new. I have previously fostered dogs as well. I grew up with horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and hamsters, and aspired to be an equine vet once upon a time!

Miki has been an amazing caregiver for our dog Mabel. She has done both combo house/pet-sitting and drop-in pet sitting for our family. Mabel is absolutely crazy about Miki. Miki takes her for trail walks, keeping her on leash when signs are posted, and always wipes her down carefully afterwards. She knows how to keep Mabel entertained and can sense her ideal combination of stimulation and calm. Dogs can always tell a good soul and we trust our Mabel’s judgment!

Schedule
I am a freelancing musician and also have an admin job - if I am not away traveling, I am almost always home and flexible with my schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is very quiet, no other pets, and no kids. There are great walking routes nearby including the river, and we can discuss taking your dog for runs or trail outings depending on your dog's training.
A typical day
I understand that each dog's needs are different. Whether your dog wants a fast paced walk, to take their time sniffing every thing, or to play with toys, we can discuss what your pet finds most fulfilling and enriching.
