**Please note I am unable to accept jobs in houses that smoke indoors due to allergies. MY AVAILABILITY: Mon, Wed, Thu: 9:00am-2pm Tuesday, Friday 10am-2pm I’m overall flexible but I will work you around my current scheduled clients. I prefer mornings but I also understand wanting your dog to have a midday break or a later drop in! I used to work part time at a doggy daycare, so I’m very used to caring for dogs and all the things that go with it. As stated above, I also have a family dog and 3 lizards so I would love any type of animal you have! I’ve given my dog his daily pills countless times. I also had one gecko with several health issues and I helped her countless times with antibiotic injections, applying creams, mouth rot, etc. She always knew she could trust me and I helped her very carefully until the day she rested.

I’ll be sure to follow all directions and make your dog as safe as possible so you have no problems while you’re out! As we head into the winter seasons, I may request to have one of my parents walk with me if it’ll be dark at that time. This is to help me feel more secure during walks at night and to make sure your dog has the best experience possible! I will always ask before bringing them along and they will not enter your home, just come along for the walk.

I accept last minute bookings, but I would prefer if we met beforehand if possible. It makes me feel safer and as a dog owner myself I’d prefer to meet the sitter too! Please let me know if your dog has any special needs I need to know of. I can accommodate to most needs, but I would still like to know ahead of time. Examples of needs: medication, health concerns, aggression/anxiety triggers, etc. Having a rescue dog, he has some triggers that make him aggressive even though he is very sweet. I will do my best to accommodate to your dog’s needs as long as it doesn’t interfere with your dogs’ safety or my own.

I would love to do whatever stimulates your dog best! We can go for a car ride, take a walk, or have some cuddle time. Whatever your dog’s needs are, I can accommodate! The weather may be an issue for some bookings, I don’t mind walking in rain/snow, but if it’s dangerously cold or if there’s lightning I’ll reach out to you and figure out a better plan!

I have had a family dog for the past 14 years, but I also have a lot of experience volunteering and working with dogs. I also have 3 pet lizards I take care of by myself, and I’m comfortable around all animals of different temperaments, sizes, ages and breeds! I would love to get in touch with you so I can learn how to best take care of your pet while you’re away.

Mikenah is very friendly and communicates well! My dog absolutely LOVES her!
Mikenah was amazing! She came by a couple days before I needed her to watch my dogs, and met my dogs in my home so that they’d be more comfortable with her for the day of. One of my dogs are very nervous around new people, but he took a liking to her right away which is a great sign! She sent pictures of them on their walk which I also really appreciate! Thank you so much Mikenah!
Mikenah did a great job taking care of our girls! We have a senior dog and a puppy mill rescue that are not always easy to care for. She was quickly able to earn their trust. She was on time and asked questions when necessary.
