Reliable Sitter/Boarding in Saugus
We are a family with 2 kids and a happy 5-year old Golden Retriever. We have flexible work-from-home schedules with at least 1 adult working from home each weekday. We are offering dog sitting or boarding services in our home for social dogs who are comfortable engaging and interacting with other dogs. We live near a pond with great paths for walking and exploring with the dogs, as well as access to additional nature trails within walking distance of our home. We'll work with you on a sitting/Boarding plan that meets your needs. We have used dog boarding services ourselves, so we understand the need for the owner to be comfortable with not only the humans that will be handling their pet, but the other animals and the environment that the pet will be in as well. We do have a Special Needs kid at home and as a result, we tend to look for dogs to board that are non-aggressive, non-chewers.

Mike and his wife were so wonderful to our dog Nela! It was our first time leaving her for more than a day and I was extremely nervous about it but it was honestly the best experience for us and for Nela! They sent great pictures and updates of their day and I could tell Nela had so much fun with them & their dog Parker. I think she’ll definitely miss playing with Parker!
Chloe had a great time. Thank you for taking such good care of her!
As always, Casper had a great time at Mike’s house. We know he’s always in great hands when he’s there and it’s so fun to see how excited he is when he gets there!

Mike was great, he gave my dogs a lot of attention, walks, and socialization with other dogs. Very communicative and helpful. I definitely recommend him!

Schedule
As adults with very flexible work-from-home schedules we are constantly in and around the dogs. If the weather is nice, the back door is open for easy access to the fenced-in back yard. We also have a porch that overlooks the street for the more social pets.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced-in back yard with space for the dogs to play. In home, we can accommodate a crate if that is what your dog is accustomed to. We allow for pets to roam the house and lounge on our furniture. We play with the dogs throughout the day. Your dogs are treated just like ours.

A typical day
The dogs will have access to a human at all times. We have a fenced-in back yard and love to take walks around Pranker's Pond (there are plenty of trails to explore). We also enjoy trekking through the Saugus Iron Works and exploring downtown Saugus. Our Golden Retriever will keep your dog active with playtime throughout the day!
