Availability
Mike works from home and Niki works at the elementary school and is home early every afternoon with summers off. Your dog will always be welcome in our home and rarely if ever left alone. Weekdays or weekends, together, our schedules allows for frequent breaks, walks and outings -allowing constant companionship for your dog! Our Rover calendar will accurately reflect our availability.

We can provide all necessary equipment like dog leashes, food bowls, treats, crates, even dog beds, ...but we encourage you to bring anything that will help them to feel more at home! While we love for your dog to have full access to our home, we appreciate the ability to crate your pet in the rare event we have to leave them alone or at night while we are sound asleep. We maintain a very safe environment and a strict leash policy. Your dog will be treated like family and look forward to every return visit! You'll see!!

We'll take your dogs on lots of walks and adventures like trips to the lake and to the park. Our neighborhood is a great spot for walks and meeting other dogs.

Mike and Niki here! We’d love to welcome your dog to our quiet country neighborhood where they'll have a big yard to explore and a comfortable house to relax in. We're an active couple and enjoy taking walks. We'd love to have your dog join us! We have a flock of hens in the yard as well as an outdoor cat. The chickens have their own secure space and our cat, Jet, is very friendly with dogs but really won’t be interacting with them too much. We've always been dog owners but we recently lost our lab and miss the company of man's best friend. We’ve been hosting Rover dogs since early 2021 and love experiencing the variety of dog breeds. We generally care for a single dog at a time, or multiple dogs from the same family. You can count on them getting plenty of attention! We've been Pequot Lakes locals for the past 20 years, -we raised our three daughters here and know the area pretty well. Let us know if you need any sightseeing recommendations.

Mike & Nikki were nothing but kind to our beloved dogs. We feel confident that our pets were cared for. Despite the cold weather, our dogs got plenty of exercise and had some fun. We received several pictures which is always a bonus!
Mike and Niki are wonderful! They took such good care of Winnie! She was instantly comfortable with them and they communicated and sent photos while she was in their care. It made leaving her so much easier as I knew she was in good hands! I highly recommend them!
