Active couple, lover of all animals
We are a young, active couple that recently lost our dog after over ten years together. We have experience with puppies and seniors. While we aren't professional trainers, we have plenty of experience training our own dogs. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on us to pet-sit, walk, and train their animals. I grew up with a dog and my wife grew up with dogs and sheep. We currently have a small flock of hens as well. Our home is pet friendly, but we do not allow animals on the furniture. We don't have a fenced yard, but we live on over 30 acres, on a dirt road with minimal traffic, and in close proximity to miles of hiking trails.

Mike and Laura were amazing and such a pleasure to work with! Our dog, Runa, absolutely loved them and clearly had a wonderful time. She can be nervous around new people, but she warmed up to both of them immediately. They sent plenty of updates and photos, and in every one Runa looked relaxed and happy. Runa was exceptionally well cared for and seemed genuinely comfortable and cozy the entire time. We would highly recommend Mike and Laura!
Our dog needed a last minute place to relax while we skiied all day and we were lucky enough to book with Mike and Laura! Our dog sometimes just sulks all day when we leave her, but within hours of being with Mike and Laura she was begging for pets and wanted to explore their quiet yard. Mike and Laura are also very thoughtful and respectful people. All around grateful and pleased we booked them!
Mike and Laura were wonderful, as always, with Gus! Great communication. Highly recommend!
Mike and Laura cared for my pup like she was their own. My dog is a little anxious and overly excitable but Mike took that all in his stride. He sent photos throughout the day and I could quickly see she felt right at home. She had a long walk and lots of playtime with her favorite game of frisbee. The night before we had a big snow storm and Mike was excellent at keeping me up to date on the road conditions. I will be happy to go back another time.
Mike and Laura are wonderful. You can immediately tell just how much they love animals and they treated our pup like he was their own. They kept us up to date the whole visit with lots of pictures and videos and made sure our dog had a great time. He got tons of exercise and play and they made sure he had a nice soft spot to snuggle down. Their property is also a great location with wide open fields and plenty of places to take a dog for good walks and sniffs. I'd highly recommend Mike and Laura and I know our dog will be looking forward to another visit with them in the future!
Mike and Laura were wonderful! We left our dog Jojo with them for the day. They took her for multiple walks and sent pictures throughout the day. We saw how easily Jojo adjusted to Mike and Laura’s loving care. Looking forward to booking with them again soon!

I work a 9a-5p job Monday - Friday, but only about 2 miles from home so I can easily run home during the day. My wife is self-employed and is more flexible with her schedule and works out of the house.

Our home is pet friendly but we don't allow animals on the furniture. We have multiple large, comfortable dog beds, pillows, toys, water and food dishes, etc. We are loving and attentive. We enjoy being outdoors as much as possible, so walks, hikes, fetch, etc. is no issue. We miss having our own pup but aren't ready to adopt again, so we would love to spend some time with your animals!

We live on 30+ acres, on a rural dirt road, in close proximity to hiking trails. There is a three mile loop around our house with lots of opportunities for games, smells, interactions with other people and dogs, and places to run and fetch!
