A house is not a home without a dog
My wife and I have had pets in our lives ever since childhood. We have recently lost our beloved cattle dog Fiona after only six years. Having a dog in our house even if only for a short time is like therapy for us. We both love animals and would be honored taking care of your pet while you are away.

Mike is the consummate dog whisperer. My dog was treated like one of the family. Simon came home happy and tired. I recommend Mike whole heartedly and would consider changing my plans if Mike wasn’t available to care for my boy.
Mike and Karen are so great with our dogs it is like their second home. So glad we have found them so I can travel without any worry

Alice always has a fantastic time with Mike and Karen. They are active caretakers and she gets to go on adventures, enjoy pup cups and more. I love all the fun pics they send. Im never worried about Alice when she is in their care.

Schedule
I am recently retired and at home all day. This allows me to give your pet lots of attention and constant supervision. Walks and treats are always on the daily agenda. I only accept one family's dog(s) at a time so your dog gets our full attention. Couch potatoes are welcome.

Safety, trust & environment
Our home is very safe and we live in a very quiet neighborhood. The house has a fully fenced backyard for playtime and bathroom breaks. We share our home with two friendly cats who are very used to dogs. They do have their own space if separation is required. Our home is smoker free.
A typical day
Your dog can expect a very quiet and peacful day. Depending on their needs and weather permitting a short walk around the neighborhood or a three mile hike through Pinon Valley Park can be arranged. Playtime and exploring our back yard is always available and always supervised.
