I'm self-employed and usually work from home, so I'm very flexible. I can come by for drop-in visits almost anytime. When house sitting, I'll bring my laptop along, so I shouldn't need to leave your pets alone much at all.

I grew up on a hobby farm where we bred and trained Labrador Retrievers. I have lots of experience walking, training and playing with dogs of all ages including senior dogs and puppies. I currently have two cats that I adopted as kittens from an animal sanctuary and I love them so much! Before them, I adopted a deaf senior cat that would've been dropped off at an animal shelter by their previous family when they moved across the country. I've looked after cats including seniors and kittens for over 20 years.

For the first time in my her life we left for a full week vacation. A sensitive dog she needed the right amount of attention, and knowing. Knowing how she asks for things, knowing what she likes. Mike was fantastic with our dogs! Came to meet us before hand, played ball with the dogs and provided pictures during his drop ins. They love to see him coming! Will definitely have him again and hope to see him regularly!
Mike looked after my 14 year old Shih Tzu for 8 days. I could tell by the pictures he sent that my little fella was comfortable in Mike's care. Once I arrived home it was obvious by my dogs reception and demeanor he was well cared for. And to reinforce my own observations my neighbours, with big smiles, told me how much fun my treasured little fella was having when they were out walking. Highly recommend Mike to care for your family pets.
Emergency happen. And the last thing you need is to worry about who is looking after your dog. With Mike you never have to worry. As a professional, our dog was calm, cool and completely comfortable like we had never left. That is exceptional care.
