Animal Lover in the Holy City
I have had and cared for animals all my adult life. They run the gamut from adopted dogs, street cats, rescues, neighbor animals, and fosters. I was an active foster with Eunoia Rescue before adopting my current (foster fail) dog, Alma. Age ranges I have cared for and had in my life go from 1-elderly. Personalities are also across the board. Protective, anxious, cuddly, playful, all of the above. I pride myself on providing a safe, loving home for your furry friend while you are away.

Mike was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and asking very good questions to learn about Remi and her normal routines. He also kept me well informed and sent pictures throughout her stay. Remi had a great time and came home happy and tired. Would definitely recommend Mike and will be sure to use him again anytime I need someone to look after Remi.
Mike was able to take Tillie on short notice and did a wonderful job looking after her for me. Very easy pick up and drop off! Will definitely have Tillie stay again if I can’t be home.
Mike was fantastic with our dog!!! He was super responsive, made us feel so comfortable, took great care of Tunny, sent pictures/videos- overall a wonderful experience! Even when our flight was delayed and we had to pick up later than expected, he was accommodating and reliable. It’s so evident that he has such a love for animals!
Mike was great with my lab! Sent some photos during his short stay and communicated well for pickup and drop off, would definitely recommend!
My dog never even noticed I was gone because she was having too much fun with Mike! I will definitely use him again. He was so nice and communicative and accommodated me last minute.

Schedule
I work from home full-time and will be fully available for your pet while in my care. I am happy to take your buddy on walks and to the local dog park, if that is something you are interested in.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in backyard and two furry friends to keep your baby company. Alma is a 4-year old Shepard mix and she loves making new friends. Squeaks is a (former) street cat that I have had since 2016. He's wily and not scared of dogs, but it would be great if your pet is not cat-reactive. I typically allow animals on the furniture and in bed, depending on the shedding situation. I am also happy to enforce whatever rules you currently have at home (e.g. sleep in crate, no animals on the couch, etc.). I am also an amateur photographer so don't be surprised if you get some solid glamour shots of your fur baby. Note that the house does have a few stairs in the front and back.

A typical day
My days are flexible and I am happy to walk your dog around the neighborhood or take them to the local dog park to get some exercise. I am also happy to let them out in the backyard for some play time with Alma. Other than that, we will probably just be little lazy and hang out on the couch!
