Kay's Tustin(Small Dog)Ranch
After losing our own 2 Shih-Tzus 10 years ago, Mike and I took care of little furry friends for over 7 years. Now, sadly, Mike has passed away, but I still love caring for the little ones. I don't currently have any pets and that's why I'm anxious to care for others. I feel they bring me comfort and hopefully I bring them comfort and love while their family is away. I live in a gated condo complex. My condo has outdoor stairs leading to a large patio and a single level living space. Young puppies can be a bit much for me but I have a lot of experience with adult and senior dogs, and the smaller the better. :)

Kay is so caring and I can tell Hazel feels comfortable and loved. I picked her up and we went potty before getting in the car and then she tired to run back to Kay's house afterwards!. That's what I love, that my Hazel is well taken care of. I feel at piece knowing that Hazel's with her. I highly recommend her and will definitely ask her to watch my dog again if she's available!
Kay was great with Alby. I have never left him, except with family. She made me feel so at ease. Both Alby and Kay adjusted to his routine. I will definitely use her again.

Schedule
I'm retired now so pet care is my main function of the day, the main duties being feeding, walking, and giving love and affection to the pets I'm caring for.

Safety, trust & environment
There is a gate at the top of the stairs to keep the dogs in. Some like to lie in the sun on the patio and I always have a towel down for them to lie on. If ok'd by you, I allow them on the furniture.
A typical day
A typical day is feeding, walking, and enjoying the personalities of the dogs. It's also entertaining to see them play with other dogs. If there is only one dog to care for, I enjoy playing little games with them like 'hide the treats'.
