I’m Mike and I love dogs! I grew up helping my mom train dogs for Guiding Eyes so I have experience with pups of every age, size, breed, and personality! Once I finished grad school, I volunteered at the local rescue organization which inspired me to foster puppies. I have always been a dog lover and this is a great opportunity to give back to my community, all the while meeting new furry friends! In addition to my personal and volunteer experience with dogs, I was a professional dog walker for ‘Reactive Rover’, which was a dog walking service specializing in exercising dogs that are high maintenance, anxious, or had other reactivity issues. I would work to get the pup I was walking comfortable, break down barriers, and work on various greeting skills. This helped my furry pals in addition to broadening my own experience and skills with dogs! When your dog is under my care, my number one priority is to make you both feel completely comfortable and well taken care of. I do that by giving the absolute best customer service possible. I’ll always follow your instructions to a “T” to ensure your dog’s happiness and safety. After all, no one knows your dog better than you do! We’ll always do what makes them the most happy, and I’m happy to go the extra mile for any pooch. Likewise, I love sending daily updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together! I’m always just a phone call away and can be reached any time in case any concerns or questions arise. I split time between Malvern, PA and Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. There are many parks around both locations! There is plenty of walking and green space as well around. My girlfriend Kristina is an avid dog lover and shows as much care and affection as I do anytime we care for someone’s beloved dog! We also volunteer at All 4 Paws Rescue in Malvern, PA! When I’m not pet sitting, I love playing sports, whether it be basketball at my gym or tennis outside! The beach is also a must during warmer weather. Your pup would be welcome to join me on any of these adventures! If I’m not outside being active, I am always spending time with my friends, going out to dinner, seeing a movie, or taking in a show. I also love lounging at my apartment on the couch with a good book/tv show!

Mike and his partner were so helpful while we were away. They took great care of our high energy dog for an in home stay for an extended weekend and they gave him extra love and attention, as well as plenty of photos and updates for us. Our pup felt so comfortable with them, you could tell they were asking engaging questions and were going to be great caretakers. We appreciate them and will rebook with them in the future.
We cannot recommend Mike and Kristina highly enough! This was our first time leaving our 6-month-old puppy, and we were incredibly nervous about being away from her. From the very beginning, they put our minds at ease. The meet-and-greet was fantastic, and it was immediately clear that they have extensive experience with dogs and truly understand puppy behavior. Our puppy is high-energy, has a specific routine, and is still actively working through training, but Mike and Kristina handled all of her needs with ease. They followed her schedule, managed her energy level, and gave her the structure and attention she needed while we were away. We trusted them to stay in our home, and they took exceptional care of both our puppy and our house. We came home to an immaculate space, which was such an added bonus after traveling. Communication was outstanding throughout the entire stay. We received frequent updates and photos, which helped ease our anxiety and allowed us to enjoy our time away knowing she was in great hands. Most importantly, our puppy was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for when we returned. There were no setbacks in her training or routine, which was one of our biggest concerns. Mike and Kristina exceeded every expectation we had, and we would not hesitate to book them again in the future.

I can not say enough positive things about Mike! My previous rover cancelled on me 48 hours before my 7 day trip, Mike came in at the 11th hour & offered to help. He provided great pictures & updates during our dogs stay! Losing my first rover was nerve racking but I’m glad I did - Mike was dependable & prompt! Can not thank him enough! We will only be booking with him moving forward!
This was our second time leaving our baby Otis with Mike - and he did not disappoint! We left Otis in Mike’s care for 6 whole days this time around and it was only because of Mike’s consistent consideration and communication that we felt comfortable enough doing so. We recommend Mike to anyone out there who wants not just a sitter - but a true dog lover to watch over their bud, as he truly treats each dog like his own.

Schedule
I work a hybrid role so many times I am working from home and when I do have to head out for meetings it is few and far between and my gf Kristina is always there to assist!

In Malvern I have a small balcony but there is a gated dog park that is included in the complex - in Philadelphia we do not have a yard but are very close to Rittenhouse Square, Schuykill River Park, and many others!

A typical day
On a stay with me, I’ll be sure to cater our day around your puppy's energy level and favorite activities! We will spend a lot of time enjoying belly rubs, taking pictures, and getting pooch pampered! I work for a Tech Start up and depending on the week and time of year, I can work from home! In Malvern - we are close to several wonderful pet friendly parks! In Philadelphia we are near lots of great parks, one being the Schuylkill Park. Other places we can visit are Rittenhouse Square, Marian Anderson Park, Chew Park, and Julian Abele Park.
