I’ve grown up with a dog since the day I was born. All of our dogs have been very different so I know how to care for different breeds and their personalities. Neighbors have relied on me for years to watch, feed, and walk all kinds of different animals. I have watched a pony, dogs, cats, bunnies, and tortoises. I love spending time with animals and would gladly take them on local hikes, walks, and even the beach to give them an eventful day. I’d also love to simply spend time with them! I live in Santa Monica/Brentwood and will be studying for the next few months for medical exams. Would love to take care of any friends while doing so!

I will run anything I do by the owner prior to doing so. For example, I’ll be sure to ask if they are okay with me taking their dog on a hike vs a walk around the neighborhood, because I know every dog is different and want to be the best for them!

Mikayla is INCREDIBLE. No review can do justice to the absolute JOY she brought my dog—who’s a bundle of nerves much of the time around strangers; not Mikayla!!—and the unbelievable gift she gave me by being so communicative, flexible, up-for-whatever (last minute? More time? More walks? Babysit? Bring the dog home so he doesn’t have to be alone in a hotel room all day)…. I simply can’t say enough nice things. She’s a complete hero and is reason enough on her own to make me a devotee of Rover. If this app can introduce you to someone like Mikayla, it may be the best thing on earth. I am so in her debt. She could triple her prices and I’d pay them without question. She’s a life saver. THANK YOU MIKAYLA!!!!!

Schedule
I’m currently working at hospitals in LA so my schedule fluctuates often, however I am a very active person and make sure to get outside before or after work!

- If they get along with other dogs/walking habits. Overall just anything so i can better cater to the dog and assure the owner is comfortable!
