I've come from an extended background of caring for all types of animals as I grew up on a farm; from caring for horses, cows, chickens, and bunnies to my personal favorites of dogs and cats. I was an active member of 4-H throughout my youth participating in dog shows in obedience and dog agility. I have a passion for all types of animals and have experience caring for sensitive rescue animals as I have owned two rescue dogs and fostered several litters of kittens. I want to bring my passion and experience caring for all types of animals into my Rover pet care services and ease the stress of finding quality pet care.

I have a spacious apartment in a safe neighborhood away from busy streets. There are multitudes of walking trails and neighborhood walks. I have a small cat to keep your pet company but can easily be kept separate as well if desired. I have access to parks within walking distance and an overall pet safe haven here at our home.

Mikayla was amazing! We had a delay on our flight and ended up getting home a day later than planned. She took care of things no problem and was so communicative the whole time!
Mikayla was amazing! She was so attentive to my dog’s needs. I have a high-energy dog and Mikayla got her out on lots of walks, played with her often, and kept me updated with photos. My dog clearly was obsessed with her, and I had so much peace of mind knowing she was taken care of so well.
Mikayla did an excellent job of watching and caring for our dogs while we were away on an extended weekend trip. It was the first trip we've taken where we left the dogs with someone else, so needless to say we were pretty anxious about it all. Our dogs took to her immediately. While we were gone, she sent us multiple updates with photos throughout the day and really put us at ease. She took great care of our dogs and our house and we were super happy about the experience. We definitely recommend her for house/dog sitting and will hire her again in the future!

I am a Physical Therapist and have a very consistent predictable routine that allows me to have some flexibility as well and make adjustments if give notice in advance.

- Please let me know any of the below details if they regard to your pet so I can ensure the most seamless and pleasant experience possible. 1. Feeding Schedule: Please be sure to let me know specific if your dog is on strict feeding schedule. Furthermore, please specify the exact amount of your dog food brand and the times they are used to eating. 2. Medication: If applicable, please provide specifics regarding medication dose and medication times. 3. Allergies: if your dog has any allergies to any specific allergens or ingredients please let me know. 4. Exercise Routine: Regular walks and playtime in a secure area are essential and will be provided multiple times per day. I would love to know the activity level your dog is used to so I can meet or exceed expectations in this area. 5. Behavioral Notes: I would love to know if your dog has any quirks or behavioral tendencies. 6. Comfort Items: Please let me know if your dog has favorite toys/blankets. Providing these will help them feel more at ease. 7. Emergency Contacts: In case of an emergency, please provide any emergency contact and your preferred vet information contact information as well Thank you for your attention to these details.
