I’ve been involved with animals my whole life. I grew up with 4 cats and a medium sized dog that I helped raise and care for. Throughout high school, I walked dogs and did pet sitting for various clients, including family. I worked at Pawville in Homosassa, FL for about a year, looking after both dogs and cats. I’ve handled pet medications and always make sure they are correct and on time. Currently, I’m a multi-cat & multi-dog owner and have learned more regarding dog training and behavior such as using a cat or dogs recall. I believe in being kind and patient when interacting with dogs, and understand how to safely / proactively manage the environment with them in mind. I’m punctual, reliable, experienced, & trustworthy when it comes to any kind of fur baby! I value safety most of all and don’t take any chances. I’m very risk averse and value your pets safety most of all.

At this time, I do not offer boarding services in my home. My house has a fenced in backyard and I let my dogs out multiple times throughout the day. I watch them as they go potty to observe their stool, which is indicative of their health. I give clean water daily, use a wet paper towel to remove eye boogers, and will physically wipe the dog down if they are dirty. If I notice excess hair while petting the dog, I will give them a light brushing out. My dogs are kennel trained, happy, and healthy.

Happy dogs happy mom! My dogs ❤️ Mikayla! She is very accommodating and responsive. She took care of my 2 dogs and one of my cats and kept the little box clean. My house smelled clean and fresh when I came back after 3 days.
Mikayla was so quick to respond and was very considerate of our pup’s needs. We could tell from the photos she sent that our dog felt loved and cared for.
Mikayla takes time to interact with our girls to make sure they are not only okay but also doing well while we are away.
She was fantastic and did everything I asked and beyond and she may have fallen in Love with little Taffy😻
Mikaela was great with Athena and Little Bit! This is the first time a new person has interacted with our girls since we have had them. She made friends with them and judging from their reaction when I came home they looked forward to her daily visits.

Schedule
I am currently self employed and have the ability to set my own hours so I have fairly open availability. I do not do any walking during the hottest part of the day, due to health and safety of myself as well as your dog. House Sitting: The $30 listed price is for a 12 hour time period of your choosing - If a continuous 24 hour coverage period is needed, I charge $60 per night - If you’re looking for a longer term solution, I can work with you on pricing and expectations.

- Please let me know if your fur baby has any special needs, allergies, or requirements. I am used to working with many breeds of both dogs and cats, allowing me to give medication or help with most circumstances.
