I am currently taking classes during the week from 8:30am-12:30pm so I have loads of time to take care of your furry friends! I can get walks in as early as you would like and can check in multiple times throughout the day.

A typical day
I love to play all the pets I watch, cats and dogs alike! I am a big fan of fetch and tug of war, and adore going on runs and walks. I also am a sucker for snuggles!

Pet care experience
I used to work at an endangered farm animals petting zoo and took care of the animals every day! I took care of all varieties including goats, sheep, cows, ponies and even emus and camels! I also have had 5 dogs in my childhood home, two labs, a border collie greyhound mix, a labradoodle and a beagle basset hound. I currently own a dog with my girlfriend named Maisie who is a mini Bernedoodle!

I’ve had Mikayla take care of my family’s standard poodle several times now and every single time I’ve had nothing but glowing reviews. She is capable, kind, and patient, and does not struggle with dogs of larger sizes at all. My dog especially suffers from separation anxiety when both my spouse and I are gone, but Mikayla has managed to mitigate the worst of those symptoms and provide Bucky the best care she can every time!! She’s available and responsive every time I need her help, even when it’s very last-minute notice, and provides excellent care every time. I give her 5-stars!
Mikayla took great care of my dog for a long weekend I was away. She house sat for me as well. My dog loved her and was taken great care of, which says a lot since he’s pretty needy. She took him on multiple walks a day, even did his weird breakfast and dinner ritual (you must be sitting next to him on the floor the whole time he eats). She kept the house clean and tidy and I felt great leaving him in her hands!
Mikayla is dependable, caring, and a great person to have care for any pet! My very shy and anxious cat loves her, which is rare. I've seen her with a few different pets and she knows how to adjust her energy/care depending on what that pet needs. Plus, Mikayla has such a love for animals. She will go above and beyond making sure your pet is cared for, comfortable, and happy!
