It is a dream of mine to become a veterinarian. I am actually currently attending school to become a veterinary technician first, and I have been working at a vet’s office for about 2 years, although I have been shadowing for 3 years. I have always grown up with pets, whether it be farm animals or indoor cats and dogs. I love all animals, and it’s my dream to be able to help and care for them!

Mikayla stayed with our dogs while we were out of town for a long weekend. She did an excellent job!! She was attentive and called me when there was an issue. Mikayla kept me updated and regularly sent pictures throughout the weekend. One of our dogs required medication at that time, and she consistently gave it without issue. Her positive attitude and calming presence was a plus. Our dogs were happy when we returned home, and it was clear that they had been well attended to and loved on all weekend. I would hire Mikayla again in a second!!
Mikayla is an absolute animal lover! She's currently in college working toward becoming Vet Tech and she also works at a vet clinic part time. She loves getting to know all kinds of pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, and even snakes! She's open to learning about and caring for other types of pets as well. I strongly recommend her as a loving, responsible pet care giver!

Schedule
I’m currently working full-time at Knox Pet Clinic as a vet assistant. I work 7am-5pm Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. I can also stop by during my lunch break if you live within a close distance!
