I’ve grown up caring for dogs and cats and have been dog-sitting for years, which has taught me how to give animals the love and attention they truly deserve. I’m deeply passionate about the happiness and well-being of dogs—and animals of all kinds! Some of my strengths include being a vigilant dog walker, staying empathetic to each animal’s unique needs, and making sure everyone stays safe and comfortable at all times. I believe every animal deserves love, care, and plenty of exercise, and I’m committed to treating your dog with the highest level of respect and kindness. I’m excited to provide a fun, safe space for your dog to play, explore, and stay active—while supporting you, their hardworking human. I’m flexible and always available when you need me!

Safety, trust & environment
I always keep an eye out for possible danger and if there is more than one dog, I try to create a safe and peaceful environment for them all. I do use crates if the handler has one in their home. Just let me know!! I love adapting to each unique situation.

Mika was the perfect sitter for us! I can't say enough good things about her stay with our sweet baby who has serious separation anxiety. She was loving and patient with him and barely left his side. We always hate leaving him because we know that he will be distressed but Mika gave him so much attention, I don't think he missed us at all! She sent great updates and pictures every day that we really appreciated. And when we returned, the house was in perfect order; towels and sheets cleaned, dishes washed, etc. - she had even left us with a batch of her homemade cookies! I really can't thank Mika (and Mary) enough - truly the perfect sitter(s)!
Mika was available on short notice and provided excellent care to my puppy. She was kind, courteous, and professional and would gladly book with her again. Thanks Mika!
Mika is amazing! I needed a last minute in-home sitter for my 3.5-month old westie-scottie Samaya, and she was (gratefully) the one person who was available. She is so calm and graceful. She was happy to listen as I shared all of my pup’s needs for the day, and my concerns. This was the first time I would be leaving my puppy for most of the day and with a new person. And this was my first time using Rover. Everything went perfectly with my booking with Mika. She arrived early (??). Upon meeting my pup, Mika was so loving, warm and attentive with my silly terrier who was persistently chewing on her hands and clothing. Mika was so gentle and yet effective with Samaya. She sent me numerous photos and videos to keep me assured that Samaya was happy and ok, and I could see that Mika knew just how to care for and interact with a playful and mischievous puppy. She even tidied up the place before leaving :) Most importantly, when I came home I could see that my lil girl was sooo happy. I could tell she had a fun and wonderful day with Mika. Samaya was even sad to see Mika go. I’d highly recommend booking Mika as your dog sitter. Your dog will be in the best hands.
