Meow fellow cat lover! My name is Mikayla and I have worked in Family Law for nearly 20 years, which as you can imagine can get pretty chaotic and challenging at times ~ whilst being incredibly rewarding at the same time. I can't wait to get home to my cats for a soothing, no questions asked cuddle and unconditional love. The best therapeutic medicine after a hard day in the office. I grew up on a farm in the Rhondda Valleys, South Wales and animals big and small have always played an integral part of my life. I know no other way in life and wouldn't want to. I am a Lead Volunteer at Walthamstow Wetlands, Volunteer for London Wildlife and the Swan Sanctuary, and have done for many years. I am currently owned by 2 cats Rayzen {15} & Krystal {12} and 2 very talkative and intelligent African Greys {Sapphire {20} and Ruby {14} and take in lost parrots and rehabilitate and release wild birds and mammals. I've fostered and adopted strays {thorough checks that they are not looking for their owners ~ including scanning for a chip, checks with local Vets and leaflets circulated in the area}, over the years and hand reared orphaned kittens and then vetted suitable homes for them ~ Hard to say goodbye but, I have to share the love.. I cannot recall a time that my home has been devoid of animals, its second nature to me. I wouldn't have it any other way. Never a dull moment in my home.
