Animal lovers
*Please note: we will no longer be boarding intact animals* I’ve taken care of many many animals in my time. I have a deep love for dogs and cats of all kinds, no matter shape, size, age, breed, special needs. I have 4 animals of my own in my house and am the primary caregiver for them. I’ve petsat for many friends and family, for a wide variety of dogs and cats. I have zero fear of large/farm animals as well, and can provide basic care for them if needed.

Mikayla and James did a great job with our dog. They responded timely when I reached out and sent updates with photos/videos often. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others.
Mikayla and James are outstanding animal caregivers. They cared for my Corgi as if he was their own, and he loved them! This amazing couple treated him like the Corgi prince he thinks he is, with belly rubs, herding ball play, and treats. Hope to see them again!

Schedule
James and I work opposite shifts during the week so we are rarely not home- maybe 4 hrs a day. Between the two of us we have some flexibility

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in backyard, and an enclosed front porch for any animals who like to sunbathe. My dogs are crated when I leave the house, so if yours don’t need to be, then they’re fine, but if not I’m used to crating. I have a separate room in my house (my “office”) where I keep the litter boxes, cat food, and cat toys, so any cats or would have a quiet area.
Pets
A typical day
I have plenty of toys and games for dogs and “hidey holes” for cats. My fenced in backyard is great for off leash play, and my proximity to the saranac trail and the college make for great walks.
