I work fulltime Monday thru Thursday, 7-5:30. I would be able to check on pets throughout the weekend, but would not be opposed to checking in on pets closer to home if I were asked.

All of my cats are indoor only. All dogs I have watched have been in fenced in yards or had chains to let them out on. I have fed dogs at my friend’s homes separately due to food aggression.
Information Mikayla H. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet is typically let out to go potty at a specific time so I can mold my schedule around that necessity. I am more experienced with dogs who are used to a leash, but have walked dogs who pull before as well, though not large breeds. I have given my cats oral medication before, and my older cat has asthma, so I am able to give these medications.
A typical day
I will stop by and give your pets the attention they deserve and need while their owner is away. I love playing fetch with my brother’s dogs, as well as taking dogs on walks and letting them get all their sniffings out.

Pet care experience
I grew up on a “farm” where I was the main one in charge of feeding and watering the animals. We had most of the animals you can think of and probably some you might not. Cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, pigs, goats, a mini horse, quail, ducks, and even deer. I even enjoyed raising caterpillars.

Mikayla did an incredible job sitting my semi-middle-aged pitty. She handled her hyperactive and crazy energy with total patience and love. She has a big girl bark when she gets excited but just wants to lick your face. She kept her safe, thoroughly entertained, and definitely spoiled the entire time. I couldn’t have asked for a better, more trustworthy person to look after her. I have a pet can and wasn't worried about checking it at all. Which is saying a lot because I'm and RVT in vet med and I'm a helicopter pet parent when it comes to my babies.
Mikayla was fantastic at taking care of our 2 dogs and looking after our house while we were on vacation. She made sure they were able to get outside on a regular basis and played with our more energetic dog that needs stimulation. She came over before our vacation to meet our dogs so she wasn't a stranger to them and was polite and friendly the entire time. We plan on having her back on our upcoming trip.
