I work about 30 hours a week but most of my shifts are in the afternoon. I have Sundays completely available but any other day will depend on my schedule at work! I am rapidly responsive and flexible on any of the days of the week!

Information Mikayla G. would like to know about your pet
I would appreciate knowing if the dog tugs on the leash, or if there are certain triggers for your dog. In the past I have walked boarder collies that got triggered by bicycles so I adapted to a new walking spot! Anything you feel is important about your dog is beneficial for me to know, I would like to know all about my clients!
A typical day
When I have dog sat in the past, I would typically take the dog to go play frisbee or chuck the ball for them. I love taking dogs for walks around the Miners Ravine trail, it’s the perfect nature walk! They do require the dog to be on leash so hopefully that is okay!

Over the last few years I helped my roommate take care of her border collie, Aspen. I would take him on longer walks around Miners Ravine or take him to a nearby park to throw a frisbee for him. I also dog sit for my Grandmother’s Australian shepherd, Remy, pretty often. They are both very high energy so I know what it takes to tire them out! I cared for my disabled dog for approximately 3 years, which entailed changing diapers, cleaning up many messes, and lots of patience. I also took him on daily stroller walks and I am willing to do the same if your pets have a disability!

Mikayla was AMAZING with watching our senior bulldog on relatively short notice for over a week. She was in constant communication with us and even picked up dog food for us when we ran out while we were away. My dog was comfortable with her and I was too. I would book her again in a heartbeat 🙂
